Virtue Tees
Parents have you noticed how many slogan shirts are out there for babies, toddlers, and teens? Any given day I will see shirts that say “Daddy’s Girl, Princess, Crabby or High Maintenance” on kids. Monika Hall decided to do something good with this newest fad, so she started Toddler Virtue tees.
These virtue tees work by using their ‘5 steps to teach virtues method’.
-read the virtue to your child.
-define your virtue
-tell a story teaching the virtue
-repeat it when the shirt is worn
-then pass it on to someone else
Their goal is that by the time your toddler has outgrown their tee, the virtue will be engrained in their heart forever. Then you can pass it on to a younger cousin or friend. Why not teach our children about virtues as we do the ABCs and different colors and shapes? Lets make these shirts a learning tool. Perhaps these tee shirts will make a difference in the world, and what would be better than that?
These shirts are generously sized and beautifully made. they held up in the washer and dryer and came out as good as new.
We have the “tolerance” tee shirt and I will be buying the “courage” and “Kindness” shirts for my kids too. They are available in 2T to 4T. These are beautiful shirts that are perfect for your toddlers as well as for gifts!
They are perfect for the world.

My daughter is 3y/o and has both kindness and tolerance. She knows the meaning of each virtue and is proud to wear her ’special’ tee. Give it a try! You’ll love using tees as a teaching tool and they look great!

Does anyone notice that the kanji used means double happiness and is associated with marriage within the Chinese faith? Why not research and use the correct Chinese symbol for each virtue? To make the world a better place, it would be great to see a portion of the proceeds contributed to children of violence, a program which supports personal development in children…. just as the message tries to convey.
