One Safe Sippy!

One of the things I had to get rid of from my two older kids when baby K came along was their sippy cups. Since they had every sippy cup available to man, this was hard task but I had to. Their old cups contained BPA. Trying to find BPA free sippy cups proved a little easier than finding bottles about a year ago.

The Safe Sippy from Kid Basix are stainless steel drink cups and exactly what we needed! From their site “From the clean, non-leaching stainless steel cup to the unique safety features to the plastics free of Bisphenol A and other harmful chemicals, The Safe Sippy™ cup was created to accomplish one simple goal: Clean In, Clean Out.” They kept contact between water and plastic to a minimum, and they insisted that all our plastics be certified free of Bisphenol A, phthalates and DEHA.

Perfect for my child! I love the slim design and how it can fit into any of our diaper bag pockets. It is also lightweight, which means it is easy for my 13.5 month old to carry and drink from and light enough for him to drink with one hand, his preferred method.
It is also virtually spill proof, we did get a few sprinkles when it was held upside down and shaken, but so does every sippy cup I have ever owned.

The grippy sleeve is perfect for easily handling and for sitting it on tables and counters but the sleeve is a little hard to get on and off. It is easy to get it off is the cup is a little wet though.
Overall, I think this is a great sippy and I will be ordering more for K soon!
