Beibi Shoe Review And Giveaway

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

wees6

Last month we introduced you to the unique, very cute sandals from Wee Squeak. Wee Squeak recently introduced a new show line, Beibi. These are infant shoes that DO NOT squeak. Beibi Shoes are made for infants ages 0-24 months and are available in a variety of colors and styles for boys and girls.
wees1
We received a pair of the Beibi Crawford Navy Baby Shoes in the 18-24 month size for Baby K. These Shoes are easy to put on and the color is perfect (this shoe also comes in a camel color).
The shoe itself is very flexible a must have for baby shoes, in my opinion. My only complaint is there is not a huge variety for boys, but hopefully they will be coming out with new styles with more for boys.

Natura Crib Bedding Review and Giveaway!

Monday, May 11th, 2009

I have had the pleasure to speak with Julia from Natura about their innovative, eco-friendly bedding products. I have to say they sounded terrific, but Julia let me try them out so I would know how amazing they really are. I tend to sleep just okay and the men in my family? They are terrible sleepers!

dream20mate20pillowThe Dream Mate pillow I received is wonderful and I have NEVER slept better. It is made for side sleepers like me and although I thought it was going to be too flat for me, I awake from a restful night sleep instead of a restless sleep. Love!

Natura also makes great bedding for your baby and kids as well.
Why would you go to Natura for your baby’s bedding?
Many crib mattresses emit toxic chemicals that can contribute to respiratory tract irritation and be harmful to the brain, liver, and kidneys of a baby. In addition, many mattresses can also house dust mites, mold and mildew, all of which can be damaging to your baby’s health.
The naturally hypoallergenic Baby Natura™ Crib Collection is free from potentially risky toxins and resists the build up of harmful allergens. The NaturLatex™ crib mattress is exceptionally breathable, providing a natural ventilation system through the mattress and making it safe for your baby’s fragile respiratory system, while offering natural and firm support.
Natura’s Cry Less™ wool is naturally calming. With its exceptional ability to insulate against heat and cold, Cry Less™ wool creates a natural climate zone, and wicks away moisture before it has a chance to disturb sleep.

Research conducted at the Cambridge Maternity Hospital, UK showed that sleeping on wool caused babies to cry less and settle more quickly after feeding. Also did you know wool is a natural flame retardant? With Natura products there is no more worrying about you or your children breathing terrible chemicals from their bedding.

My son who is 13 months old only sleeps through the night occasionally, but he has slept through the night much more often since I received the Kindersoft 3 pack crib bedding set! It is soft, it washes well and is perfect for any nursery!

kindersoft20320pack20crib20set

I know every parent deserves a good night sleep and when your children sleep well, YOU sleep well so Natura has let me give that to one lucky reader.
I have one Kindersoft 3 piece crib bedding set to giveaway, it retails for $237.50!
This set includes:
comforter, crib sheet and bumper pad
Made with fleecy, cuddly soft sherpa
Safe for Baby’s fragile respiratory system
Fully breathable; no harmful chemicals, toxins, or off gassing
Controls temperature to insulate without overheating
Naturally hypoallergenic, breathable and flame retardant
Fits standard size cribs
Machine washable for easy care

See Kai Run Review and Giveaway X3!

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

Like most women, I love shoes and shoe shopping. I love shoe shopping for my kids almost as much but with amazing shoe companies like See Kai Run, it is easy to let your child’s shoe collection to surpass yours.

See Kai Run makes amazing shoes for kids! These unique shoes are made with leather and are extremely flexible ofr little growing feet. See Kai Run’s footwear meets the American Podiatric Medical Association’s rigorous standards for foot health and functionality and has been awarded the APMA’s prestigious Seal of Acceptance.
Not only are they comfortable but they are very hip and are always coming out with new, great styles.

See Kai Run makes a great boot for girls called the Julie boot in pink (limited edition) and brown. The Julie boot can be purchased with the breathable leather lining or cozy faux-fur lining. The zipper is on the inner side of the foot, which I think helps keep the zipper protected. See Kai Run also makes great looking boy shoes, like the Paul shoes which are so stylish.
You will be impressed with the selection, and once you make a purchase you will be impressed with the quality of customer service and product you receive.
I have reviewed shoes from their sister company, Eleven and I was hooked, the only thing wrong with these shoes is that they do not come in my size!

Have I convinced you that See Kai Run shoes are the shoe choice for your kids? I know you will love them as much as we do.
Right now there is a great sale going on and FREE shipping until December 31!

See Kai Run is giving Reviewing Baby Gear readers a chance to win a pair of these amazing shoes.
The shoes that can be won are the ones I have reviewed:
Julie boot in limited edition pink (size 5)
Julie boot in brown (size 8)
Paul shoes in blue (size 7)

To win, go check out See Kai Run and tell me what other shoe you would love for your little one AND which pair of shoes you would like to win. This contest is open to all readers living in the Continental United States.

PopATot Review and Giveaway!

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

My baby is 8 months old and when we go visiting our family and friends we have to bring a flurry of things for my baby to do or sit in. We end up bringing a blanket for the floor, toys, something for him to sit in to eat, by the time we are ready to leave there is no room in the car for us! The PopATot by Kiddy Creations is one of those ” I wish I thought of that” inventions.

The PopATot is a PVC-free activity center supported by a folding steel tubing frame, much like a camp chair. Think of it as a stationary activity saucer. It measures 27″x27″x24″ and collapses into a shoulder bag that is VERY slim, 5 inches wide and 36 inches long! You can open it with one hand, then you place your 6 to 18 month old (up to 33lbs) in the center seat. You can attach toys to five loops on the top using standard plastic baby rings (a pack of rings comes with the PopATot!). There are even two sippy cup holders.
The floor of the PopATot is removable and machine washable and the top you will need to spot wash.

This was a delight to review. It is fun, easy to set up and close up, very compact to store and perfect for when we travel. I love the PopATot for family vacations, visiting, the beach, camping or for the backyard. We will use ours this Thanksgiving at my sister in law’s house.
It is regulary priced at $59.99 but if you purchase now through the end of the year, you pay only $49.99!

This is one of my new favorite baby gear must haves and I think it is perfect for new moms, baby shower gifts, outdoor lovers and anyone with a small child!
Expecting moms can register for the PopATot at myregistry.com.

WIN IT! One lucky reviewing Baby Gear reader will win a PopATot! To win this fatastic prize tell me why you need a PopATot or who in your life needs one and why.
For an extra entry twitter about this giveaway and leave a separate comment with your twitter name.
For US addresses only, giveaway ends on December 2nd at 12 midnight est.

Lands’ End Diaper Bag Review And Giveaway

Monday, October 27th, 2008

Mothers, I know your frustration. You just want a diaper bag that can keep up and be as tough as you are. You need it to go from a play date to the park, from Gymboree to the beach and you want it to hold everything you need. I have been through many diaper bags in the past so I know what I am looking for and is just a matter of finding it.

Enter the Lands’ End Messenger Diaper Bag. This diaper bag can do it all!
It is made from durable 100% cotton canvas with nylon lining for easy cleaning. If you are looking for storage this diaper bag has it with a total of eleven pockets inside and out! I was really impressed with the two insulated bottle pockets on the outside. It also has interior pockets that are labeled: snacks, toys, wipes, diapers and they are clear pockets so they are easy to find things, which is ingenious! No more digging your hand in and rooting around for that pacifier or toy.

The storage doesn’t stop there, even the changing pad has two pockets to store diapers and wipes. It comes with a key fob, a wipes case and a clear zippered storage bag to keep all of your wet items separate or to keep your lotions and creams so they don’t open and ruin everything in your bag.
This is not a lightweight, thin diaper bag, this is an everyday/travel diaper bag that measures 15″Wx 11 1/2″Hx 5″D.

Win it! I have a Lands’ End Messenger Diaper Bag in Lighthouse Navy a $59.00 value to giveaway to one lucky reader! Go over to the Lands’ End site and leave a comment with another diaper bag you like from the Lands’ End.
For additional entries, twitter or blog about this contest and leave another comment with the URL for up to two additional entries!
Contest ends on October 31st at midnight and is open to US residents only.
