Customize a Playhouse for Your Child

Looking for a great gift for a little one? Maybe you are looking for something for the child who has everything, or you want to stretch your dollar and buy something that you know your child will play with for years. What about a personalized, colorful cottage card table playhouse?

This is for a playhouse that fits over your own card table! How cute. She will make it to fit the measurments of your card table exactly and it can also be customized to fit any size table. It can be personalized with your own house number and name, so you can practice memorizing your address with your child.
It comes with 6 removable fabric fruit (your choice), 4 pieces of fabric mail and a removable fabric watering can. The door opens on the side with the door knob. A piece of velcro keeps it closed. It comes in pink, green, blue, purple, brown, yellow or orange.

Cehck out the other great customized playhouses (like the fire engine, grocery store and the beauty shop), the blankets and the roadway playmats! Perfect for imaginary play, for learning shapes and colors and for just a cute place to go and play that is all their own.

I love these playhouses and I love that they can be folded up and put away when play time is over even more!

tote1

When it comes to diaper bags, I like them to be big, but not too big and I want them to be able to carry all that I want to pack- which is usually a lot. I have been liking what I have been seeing from Skip*Hop lately.

The Duo is the go-to bag for new moms, I have seen that bag everywhere! It does its job and is perfect for a mom or a dad to carry.
All of their bags are great for organizing everything baby and mom needs.

toteThe bag I have had my eye on now is the Skip*Hop Studio Tote. It is a big (but not too big) tote bag with tons of pockets and storage. It is something I can see myself carrying after I am done with diapers.

The exterior of the bag has 2 insulated bottle pockets, a zippered anti-microbial-treated pocket and an open pocket. The interior of the bag has 2 bottle-sized pockets, 4 larger pockets that easily fit diapers and wipes and a side zip pocket to hold accessories. It also has a key clip and closes with a zipper and it comes with a padded changing pad in the same color as the interior of the bag.
While these are not inexpensive bags, I do think a bag for under $100 that will last 4+ years is a pretty good deal.
Now Target now sells Skip*Hop diaper bags!

Do you have a Skip*Hop bag, or what is your favorite diaper bag?

Evenflo Recall

evenflo-recalls-childrens-activity-centers-due-fall-hazard

Today the U.S. Consumer Product Safety ommission has announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

The Evenflo ExerSaucer Triple Fun stationary activity centers made between October 2006 and December 2008. The model number is 6231711. Stage 3 position involves converting the product into an activity table. No other ExerSaucer models use end caps and, therefore, no other models are included in this recall.

The Evenflo Activity Centers have about 213,000 units in circulation across the country.
They have been recalled because when
used as an activity table, the cap on one end of the product can loosen and fall off, posing a fall hazard to a young child.
Evenflo has received 11 reports of dislodged end caps which resulted in nine minor injuries, including bumps and bruises. Evenflo has also received a report of a dislodged end cap that resulted in a child suffering a broken collarbone in Canada.

These were sold at mass merchandise stores nationwide, including Toys ‘R Us, Babies ‘R Us and Burlington Baby Depot, from October 2006 through February 2009 for about $120.

Consumers should immediately stop using the activity table in Stage 3 and contact Evenflo to receive a free replacement end cap. The product may continue to be used in Stages 1 and 2 without changes. For additional information, contact Evenflo at (800) 233-5921 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit their web site at www.exersaucertriplefun.com.

Snazzy Baby Products

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009

Every mom I know loves baby gear products that are simple and make our lives easier. What you need versus what big baby stores lead you to believe you need are usually two different things. I am highlighting two products today that are not necessary for every mom but are sure nice to have!

melissa-3

Snazzy Baby is a product line “dedicated to making mom’s life easier…simple, safe and snazzy!” The award winning snazzy baby knee pads are great for keeping baby’s knees injury free while learning to walk or crawl. We just moved into our new house and the entire first floor is wood or tile and baby K is just starting to walk. These knees pads are perfect for him because they have “traction beads” which let him crawl on the slippery floor with some traction!
These are not just for crawlers, these knees pads can be used to bike riding, crawling on decks, roller skating or just to save the knees on pants that otherwise get holes in them!

My baby’s own deluxe travel chair is perfect for moms like me, who hate to lug around big, bulky baby gear around. This soft portable chair seat for babies turns a regular chair into a restraint system. Perfect for shopping carts or for visiting family and friends. It attaches easily to most chairs and is for children up to 35 pounds. I used this recently at my husband’s office so I could feed the baby and it worked wonderfully. I keep it tucked under my seat in my car for any time I need a baby “seat” for K.

Tiny Revolutionary

Who doesn’t want their child to be the one person who changes the world? Maybe all of our children together will make this world a better place and that is such a great thought. Together with Tiny Revolutionary we are doing our small part here in New Jersey. If you haven’t heard about Tiny Revolutionary yet, this is your lucky day!

Tiny Revolutionary creates socially conscious clothing with the message of Peace, Hope, Love and Equality. Started by partners BreeAnne and Courtney, these shirts are the new face of family, that teach kids as well as adults, to celebrate their individuality. Their clothing speaks about war, the environment and animal welfare.
Having four adopted cousins myself, I am in love with the “chosen” tees. These shirts are amazing for new baby or birthday gifts. My baby has the “I’ll change the world someday” tee and truer words have never been said.

Most of the tees are organic and all are sweatshop free. They are all 100% pre shrunk and are so soft and comfortable. They also use non-toxic inks, which is terrific. Plus, $1 from the sale of each tee goes to children’s charities. Now if I can only get these great shirts in my size, we will be all set! Let’s change the world into one that we want our children to live in. If you want to be the change you want to see in the world, maybe, just maybe, wearing these amazing shirts is the first step!

Now, get 15% off the Recycle Love shirt or any other purchase at Tiny Revolutionary through Valentine’s Day with code LOVE.
